The Cowboy & Widow
A successful rancher died and left everything to his devoted wife.
She was a very good-looking woman and determined to keep the ranch, but knew very little about ranching, so she decided to place an ad in the newspaper for a ranch hand.
Two cowboys applied for the job. One was gay and the other a drunk.
She thought long… Read more

The computer swallowed grandma.
Yes, honestly its true!
She pressed ‘control’ and ‘enter’
And disappeared from view.It devoured her completely,
The thought just makes me squirm.
She must have caught a virus
Or been eaten by a worm.I’ve searched through the recycle bin
And files of every kind;
I’ve even used the Internet,
But nothing… Read more -

Hi Tania I can well imagine the atmosphere that you would have felt and you most certainly wouldn’t have wanted to visit again…….when my grandson was on his travels he went to the fields of Cambodia, he said you could still see pieces of rags and bones emerging through the soil if there had been rain …he also saw the killing tree, he never took any pics of the fields and the tree out of respect for the dead…..

4 friends meet 30 years after school. One goes to the toilet, while the other 3 start to talk about how successful their sons became.

I’ve had more jobs over than my working you life than you could shake a proverbial stick at ! 😊 When I first left school , in the dark ages , I got employed as a trainee florist , that didn’t last long as I developed a rash from handling the moss needed to line the wreaths ! I too have worked in a chemist tania and so many other shops serving the public I can’t remember them all. As you might have gathered I never ever made sales assistant of the year or even the hour ! I finally found my niche back in the sixties when I became an auxiliary nurse and continued in that career until forced into early retirement , with a ruined back , in 1994. I’m now a lady of leisure and enjoying every moment. Keep up the good work tania it makes good reading. 😆

I completely messed up that first sentence , but the thought of retyping all with my one fingered pecking makes me loose the will to live – so I won’t ! !😊

Tania, Please continue with your blogs. I am a private person as well, so I understand. If you enjoy doing your blogs I am sure lots of people will enjoy reading them, I know I do. I havent had time the last few days to comment on all blogs, I have been ill. I have a few to catch up on. I enjoy your blogs as well as others blogs, but dont always comment on all of them. Please reconsider. I dont even know where the rules for the blogs are or if there is any. I am sure Rob will let us know if we are doing something wrong with the blogs. Rob asked you to come back and take up where you left off with the blogs. So he is the only one you have to answer to. I do hope you keep at it, thats if you want to of course . 🙂

An American touring Spain stopped at a local restaurant following a day of sightseeing. While sipping his sangria, he noticed a sizzling, scrumptious looking platter being served at the next table. Not only did it look good, the smell was wonderful. He asked the waiter, “What is that you just served?”The waiter replied, ” Ah señor, you… Read more
