Hastings 1066 is where I visited last week, a very interesting and amazing place.. the sheds in the first pic are now listed buildings. the little blue house is a seafood restaurant, The lifts going up and down take you up to the remains of the Castle. This week I’m in a village time forgot 🙂

Constable country is where I went yesterday on a 1956 Bedford Vintage coach that’s always great fun to ride in, its lovely to see peoples reactions as she chuggs along hahaha the driver says he knows he’s done a full days work after driving her, with no power steering etc. I stood where John Constable stood when he painted his famous painting…

How fantastic for you and the others on board such a beautiful old coach. I don’t know whether the history of the cottage in your 4th photo was conveyed to you. The cottage was known in Constable’s day as Willie Lott’s cottage. The two knew each other quite well and the cottage featured in several of Constable’s paintings. Posting some info re… Read more
