Hi, just thought I would ask a random question. Anyone know any tricks for unscrewing a screw which has lost its thread – head, I have tried the specially made bits that allegedly work, they didn’t 🙂 I have tried elastic bands – also no help – any advice/suggestions please? Many thanks in advance.

apparently, Im told, there are utube videos showing you how to do it. But it got a very deep inward whistle. Good Luck. 🤞

If you have a rotary tool(Drexel) or a multi tool with a 10 Mm11 blade you can cut a slot across the head. But make sure that the slot edges are as vertical as possible. (Not sloped or gouged) otherwise the other option is using a good quality drill and drill the head off, but that is dependent on where the screw is.
