Hello, I just wanted to let you know that I cooked my Irish oatmeal by the Stove top recipe for 17 minutes and it was easy and tasted better. I have a 6 dup sauce pan with a snug lid. I am sharing a link about oatmeal which is a favorite with me. I am still working on how to cook the Irish Steel Cut Oats. I used the recipe on my package since it seemed easy and I have a slow cooker of the right size, but there are numerous ways to cook them.
