A Thursday Hello to everyone at 10:30 CDT zone in Cahicago Metro. Mt weather is go, high 80F and low of 63F. My air quality is unhealthy at 122 and the smoke causes a hazy sun. I have a hair appointment 15 miles across the city. I hope my car filters clean the air. I have to water every day now and my plants are thriving and bloomings. I have…

Rose like your Thursday photo’s . Missed seeing you post here yesterday. I am surprised to here Wendy bought a Honda truck , could it be she bought the Honda CRV or the midsize Honda Passport or the big Honda Pilot SUV. Well am sure which ever Honda she bought she will get to her family reunion. My daughter in law has Toyota Rav SUV and I…

A happy Saturday to everyone at 8:35 am CDT zone. My weather is good, high 75F and low 60F hazy sunshine. I was on the balcony and smelled smoke, but the air quality is much better today. I am almost caught up on my chores that piled up in April and that is a good feeling. Hugs and good wishes to everyone.

A Thursday good morning and Hello at 9:30 CDT zone. My weather is high 73 and low 53 with an air quaility alert. I got busy ordering new AC filters and a much better quality air filter. I got started watching a very engrossing serial, “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and lost most of the weekend and some time since. It is an Amazon prime made…

I noticed that when I started this group, I put MOTIVATION first because that was and is my biggest problem. I have solved a lot of problems over the years with the best exercises for me that I will do if I will do any exercises. I still need more motivation and my grandson, in perfect shape, does his workout about 5 days a week and is a…

Well done to your grandson. The best motivation. But yes its hard to stay focused all the time. Conversations/groups like this one all help. Just one idea (or kick up the bum from someone older and wiser putting you to shame) whatever it takes.
Im playing to my strengths, the only exercise I really enjoy is swimming and Wilson is a willing training mate.

Exercise and diet is hard and gets harder as you get older. Our bodies start slowing down and want to quit on us after 50 and even younger. I have never like strenuous work or exercise. Now, I have to build muscles as I go. I don’t like junk food so I am lucky about that. Eating normal portions is something many of us have to relearn.…

Well Im finally ready to get back on track. After months of socialising with excessive eating and drinking, which I have thoroughly enjoyed. I am now ready to prioritise my health. We are in a lovely environment living on board our little boat cruising the Croatian islands for the next month. No more visitors planned so we can…

The one area I have always failed is eating healthy balanced meals, hence the Keto thing which does work for me. It’s a psychological thing but one I just can’t get over. I have to be interested with what I eat otherwise I’d just not eat at all. I have that same problem with many things though, not just food. I suppose I need to feel something,…

I have seen discussion and it is all good because sharing helps us to focus and stick with our struggles. Exercise and being active WILL help with everything else. I still do some YO-YOing. I find that getting a fast start first thing is the morning works best for me. I find eating healthy easier that follow a special diet. Simply, cut…

Good advice. I do love my sugar, salt and BUTTER. But am just going for healthy choices when ever I can. Also prioritising exercise. My healthy eating has a similar base to yours @roseinbloom But Im quite tempted by @dj High protein no carbs for a quick fix. It just feels counterintuitive for me. So its boring tried and tested for a while. Then…

We all need to share what works for us and what doesn’t. We need to be cheerleaders for each other to reac some goals. I got plenty of exercise today, now I need two more days at least to reach a weekly goal. I ate two salads today. Half of one for lunch and the other half for supper.🤗

A Monday morning hello to everyone at 9:10 am CDT zone in Chicago Metro. My weather is hazy sunshine, high 87F and low 65F. Definitely, a lighter clothing day. I have done exercise and several chores. If I don’t do it early, it may not get done at all. I definitely have to go out to do errands. The plants have to be watered which is fun to…
