Why do Amazon delivery drivers never ring my doorbell?
In the middle of my front door is a big doorbell. But every time I get a delivery from Amazon, the driver completely ignores the doorbell and instead knocks gently on the glass panel. Why? It isn’t the same driver every time.
I am a bit hard of hearing and I miss a lot of deliveries because I simply don’t hear them. But if they would only ring…

From what I can gather – and this is partly conjecture rather than solid fact – Amazon drivers seem to have a no contact policy and will often avoid high contact surfaces like doorbells and door knockers. Also, so many people now have doorbell cameras that alert the homeowner as soon as movement is detected, it’s assumed that many customers…

Having cracked a rib a couple of weeks ago, I’ve had to be a bit less mobile than usual. The weather today is feeling downright cold, so I’ve decided against a walk today and I’m still taking it easy with the rib anyway so…there’s more time for me to spend online then! 😆

dj, I think you are an honest man. Most people would make up a different story. I damaged my ribs when I jumped up in the bathtub to answer the door and fell across the bathtub. It hurt to breathe then hurt to move for several weeks. three years ago I broke my sternum in a car wreck and the same thing all over again and moving will cause… Read more
