In 1998 our son, then aged 21, moved out in order to take a job in another part of the country.

In 2003, he found a preferable job closer to home so he moved back.

In 2005 he left again, this time to get married.

In 2017 they divorced, and he moved back home again.

He has just told us that he is leaving again to move in with his current partner.

Here in South Wales, dragons lurk around every corner. The blue ones are particularly dangerous – they roost in high places, then swoop on unsuspecting children walking by.

Good morning, peeps. Cloudy and cold here in South Wales this morning – 6C (about 42F I think). Nothing pressing for us today so my wife is still in bed while I’m doing a few jobs.

We had a day out in Abergavenny yesterday. It’s a pleasant little town about 30 minutes drive from here. Lots of restaurants, and a good market on Fridays.

It’s THURSDAYYYYYYYYYYYYY !!!

We have a regular Thursday “thing” – pensioners lunch at a nearby pub (well, actually not that near, its about 6 miles away). It’s the one dayof the week that I don’t have to cook. My wife usually has the full roast dinner (either beef or lamb) while I prefer sausage & mash. What’s not to like?
