A morning coffee is my favourite way of starting the day, settling the nerves so that they don’t later fray.
-
Same here. First one is already underway. One at least is mandatory but two is usually the minimum. Three is very common but four (all before lunchtime) is also more than possible…ha ha! 😂

Four! I’d be walking across the ceiling, well I’ve been there before but coffee is probably safer🙃.

The secret of happiness, you see is not found in seeking more, but in developing the capacity to enjoy less.
-
Is it not the same thing? Finding more in less?

Morning
Well it’s morning, I haven’t made up my mind which type yet, but it’s definitely morning, the clock says so. Pretty sure I’m in Kent, the garden, sorry the housing estate of England, it’s raining and chilly so I’m very pleased that I chose yesterday to unload two bulk bags of logs into the log boxes. So at least I can be warm with my poor old back.

Attitude is a choice. Happiness is a choice. Optimism is a choice. Kindness is a choice. Giving is a choice. Respect is a choice. Whatever choice you make makes you. Choose wisely.
-
Well… I wouldn’t want to kick start a huge debate about this, and I really don’t have any intention to do so. For some people it’s not always a choice though. Someone with clinical depression cannot just suddenly choose to feel happy and optimistic. But for those of us that are able to make such decisions then yes of course.

Always looking for answers, I sometimes I find them but they invariably come with more questions attached.
-
I no longer look for ‘answers’ but relish the process of thinking and the new questions that result.

I think that’s what makes a coffee break so enjoyable. Taking the time to think without the constraint of finding the answer. At least at our age ….
