It broke my heart to sell our bungalow by the sea in Falmouth and to leave our garden after the loss of my dear wife. Now here I an in the centre of france with my son so I have someone to look out for me. I am so lonely ,groups like this are a life saver to me .THANKYOU everybody. Brian.

Such a shame, Brian that you sold that lovely home and the sad loss of your wife…so many memories no doubt. Very different lifestyle living in France. Hope our group can contribute to you enjoying being on SC.

Great news Brian, it sounds as though you are living in a rural area of France. Rob and I travelled France by car fairly extensively both in 2005 and 2008 and I’m looking forward to becoming reacquainted with it through your posts.
