I hope everyone is doing well. It’s snowing in Louisville, and most places have shut down. I used to live in Denver, so snow isn’t a big deal, but here the world is ending.

Yeah it has been snowing here constantly all day here in WNY. We probably have already gotten about 4 inches so far. We are used to that in this area which makes a big difference. We have the equipment to take care of it. Not that they don’t get behind sometimes if we get a continuous heavy snow.

We spend more time analyzing the intentions of those trying to communicate than the doctor does to determine a health issue. I get it. There are a lot of scams out there. I also get that there are a lot of people who just want someone to talk to, without judgment, prejudice, or distortion. I hear the term “it’s complicated” way too…

The world, his wife and most probably his dog walk about with their heads down and their fingers ( and 🐾 ) tapping away on these infernal little machines. In years to come, humans will have thumbs the size of golf balls and NO voice boxes !
Seriously though, I know they are a useful…

My youngest daughter never allowed her kids to have their own cell phones. When the kids stayed over with us, she sent one phone with them which they could contact her, or it was to be used in emergencies. She kept an eye over them when they used the computer. Friendship, true friendship, can lift us, ill memories fade as kinder memories come into focus.

I do have a mate like that. We live 250 miles apart unfortunately but when we do get together it’s pretty amazing.

You’re very fortunate. Closeness helps but just knowing they are there can also be a comfort.
