Oh dear! just have to post this! Such is the upheaval, with daughter’s accident, comings and goings, grandson was cooking breakfast for all, come up to main house 7.30! saw him drive out ?? came back shortly, he had forgotten to get eggs and bacon!!!! would you believe our village IGA was open!! so he was saved!! I saw funny side, needed a laugh.

Quick update daughter had hip replaced, Wed., not on her feet yet as blood pressure too low, hope today may see them try as they say quickest back up with aid is best.

Thoughts for my daughter bad hip break, needs hip replacement op tomorrow or Thursday, she is in lot of pain.

news not good, daughter in hospital, had a bad fall at service station, tripped backwards cant move hip awaiting scan etc hospital.

Having a quick cuppa, waiting for my first time ever, Christmas pudding cooked in microwave!!?? not sure how it will turn out, I usually cook mine in a cloth boiled in saucepan on a hot plate. New flat has no hotplate only microwave convection oven. As I can cope without a ‘stove’ . granny flat is small but all I need these days .

As long as it taste good, it sounds easier to do in the micowave

pudding turned out good or looks good, jug shaped and yes lowered power to 30% and so simple to the way I made boiled cloth pudding for years

Well for leader board or whatever, I have been online playing quiz and not chatting there. Playing the quiz in chat rooms section passes time for me.
If you want to add another thing to the sc site start on first day of month, not greet me with I have not doing anything on site this month!!

Agreed ! A very lovely pass-time and good for the grey matter as well. It is also nice to comment the questions (briefly of course) and have a laugh with complicit chatters. Only my point of view.
