Mistaken Identity
I came into chat today and someone asked if I was a Doc? so I explained myself and this other person interogated me and I stood up for myself.and they were having none of it.Is this how we are to be treated as paying customers? I explained I did not need her approval, permission or acceptance and it just infuriated her more, no matter what I said wasn’t good enough when I suggested that a moderator intervene I was told why bother them…well I am asking for an intervention now. I have come to the realization that some people have to be in control of the room and if they don’t like you they make it known so you are not any longer welcome in the room. I am not any ones door mat and refuse to be treated like this misjudging me and believing me too be someone else. I guess when someone has made up their minds no matter what one says or does there is no changing it. I came in at ^37 am Pacific time, you can check the logs Skippy or Veronica and you decide what you choose to do to resolve it. Thank you Doc.

ok is there if any one any the wiser i got attacked by this person and skippy was meantioned and was asked to intervene, i dont know this person , i have said hello to him or her thats all so why am i being singled out as a player of a game he was very rude and out of order he doest know me or anything about me and was saying i was on skype with people how would he or she know , and why is he asking skippy or veronto intervene , i am not here in that time zone , there is no excuse for this attack and will happily meet with skippy cos i sure as hell dont know what this pesrson is on about being a doc or a vet, whats to resolve i dont know this person i am not in that time zone, i have transcsript but there are pages of it if you want to plough through it and mamke any sense of it
In regards to what happened in chat this morning, I feel someone was way off the mark in regards to Patricia.
Pat is one of the most level headed, fair minded people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. She does not judge, or criticize, or try to control conversations in the chat
room and in my opinion, is the epitome of what a good moderator should be.
She did not deserve to be treated so rudely and then to have other moderators names thrown out there to jump in and solve the problem? The ultimate insult.
You can defend positions and have your arguments, but there is no excuse for rudeness.

omg here i go again, i dont usually come in here ,just want to make a point,i was in the chat room today and i agree with everything ellie has said,pat is never rude to anyone,infact the person was very rude to pat,and there were people that seen it too,and im sure all the other admins and monitors agree that pat helps people in chat she is never rude,and didnt deserve to be spoken to like that !!!!

Okay have read the transcripts and found only 2 faults…….1. Pat you didnt chastise Murtle when she used a naughty word…haahaa….and the 2nd one I think may have led to a misunderstanding….Izezdoc asked the room to call him Doc After that it got confusing with conversations all over the place and even I got confused reading the darn thing. There were things said that maybe shouldnt have been said all over the place with even the word ‘DARE” tossed in there somewhere. It seems to me apoligys all round for the total confusion that should have been a simple chatroom conversation.
So no faults anywhere……..

Ok am awake now lol. Doc I respectfully ask you to not use my name in this way. I am the newest member of the team, a monitor, pat is an experienced admin and I agree with all ellie has said about Pat. I will not intervene in matters such as this, it is not my place. xxx
dear Doc,be reassuredI have never passed myself off to anyone as a moniter, you metion of my name along with skippys, as a moniter, you have made a mistake in naming me, because I dont even now what this discussion is about nothing happened the night you came into the Aussy chat we were on one night that i can recall, we all had a wonderful night, there were no upsets and I for one cannott beleive for a minute that any one would think I would pass myself off as a moniter, thank youDoc, I apreciater your understnding. veronica xxx.

Seems to me, from what Faye says, it’s all a big misunderstanding. I will 3rd, 4th, 5th and 2nd how Ellie sums up Pat. She’s a good ‘un.
Gee…if i may make an observation…although i was not present…Patricia has always been a great chatter and in my opinion the best montior in the chat room at any time of the day…chill out doc i think you may have taken it all wrong….my dad always told me that you can learn more by listening than talking….sometimes i listened…i’m sure pat or any one else that was in the room at that time was purely innocent. everyone have a nice day.
Hi doc,i agree with a lot of what you are saying,but at the end of the day Rob has also set up 4 more rooms for us,so why not use one of them,and ask your friends to join you in there,….i dont go in to chat any more,(very seldom),funny enough i went in there a few days ago,there was a difference of opinions going on so i left,pronto!!!!,enjoy your day doc,and take care,xx
I look on the chat room as a place for light hearted banter ( yu just gotta love it on a good night ) the room is to fast sometimes to be able to get into any heavy indepth conversations, how easy it is to be misunderstood,so confusing sometimes, screens changed so fast you don’t know who’s said what haha xx
