THE GROUP W BENCH
Some may wax poetic. Some may wane philosophic. And some will sing praises of the spirit. Me? ..I’ll just be waiting here on THE GROUP W BENCH singing ” I don’t want a pickle! Just wanna ride on my motorcycal.” Arlo Guthrie

OK! Strange! But then Guthrie was often strange, lol
He could do it in three point harmony!!!
A motorcycle between her thighs
Brings out the lady’s sighs
I’ll betcha a nickel
Its better than a pickle.
“I don’t want to fight.” I just wanta ride on my motor___bike!”
Ode to Leafofgold and Oldbull:
A Poem About A Pickle…
A friend called me on the telephone
and said “Tickle me in my funny bone
it would make me laugh when I’m alone
if you would write a poem about a pickle!”
Well, I’ve written poems of a love so true
and the fickle things that people do
and poems for my children too
but I’ve never written a poem about a pickle!
So here I am from late at night
’til the trickle of the morning’s light
but I just can’t seem to get it right
when writing a poem about a pickle!
I can’t find the words that rhyme
bet your nickel to my dime
that I’m running out of time
to write this poem about a pickle!
I give up! It’s over, I quit!
It will prickle me into a fit
I can’t go on, that’s all, that’s it
I’ll never write this poem about a pickle!
