Mountains are magical places. You can stand near the summit and look down on history below you or stand in the valley and look up at majesty it took aeons to create.
Either way mountains make you realise how insignificant we are in the great scheme.
And I miss them

I never really knew them until I explored a bit, about ten years ago or so. Now I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else.

When you get to our age most “occasions” are either “ins” or “outs”. Where In means christening and Out means funeral.
