I went next door to get my pizza slice and I had to wait a few minutes, but it was hot and more delicious than ever. There is ice where there was no salt and it was messy with water puddles by the curb, but I was careful and watched my step. It was worth the risk, and the effort.😋

A happy Tuesday from Chicago CST zone. Today, as predicted, I see a coating of ice, but we have warmer weather coming our way and I actually plan to keep a dental appointment because there is no danger of freezing. My high is 35 and low 34 with freezing rain. I slept until 6 am which is rare for me so I am on a later schedule. i slept well…

Rose , I am glad to hear you slept till 6 a.m. as I woke up at 7:30 a.m. and have a appt. at 11:15 this morning . It is now 35F outside and going to 42 this afternoon here. Calling for rain on Wed. & Thurs. here and that should melt all our snow we have on the ground. It is 56 days till spring. Have a good rest of your Tuesday . ☀

I went next door for pizza but there was it was closed for maintenance so I came home and made a grilled cheese with my fat free cheddar. I could have walked farther down, but I wasn’t dressed to be walking further in the cold. I will try again tomorrow. Veggie Pizza is my favorite food right now.

Since I have been a virtual hermit for over a week, I spent some time exploring Streaming services and what I get free or are free. It is a maze that takes more hours and patience than I have. I will stick with what I have and is free before I pay for anything else is my decision.

A frigid Saturday morning to everyone from Chicagoland CST zone. My weather is cold high 17F and low minus 2 degrees. I do not wish to go out in the cold weather. I ordered groceries and had them delivered. All is boring but well.

Rose , It is 18F here this morning and going to 24 F this afternoon. Sun is out and the weather hear is to warm up to 38F on Monday and 41F on Tuesday and on Thursday it is to get up to 49F here. Got my groceries delivered yesterday from Walmart at 7 p.m. last night. Well hope you have a good rest of your Saturday and stay warm ok.
